Nissan has become the latest car manufacturer to say it will gradually stop selling diesel cars in Europe. The softening demand seen by auto makers is a sign of concern from potential buyers at the restrictions that are set to hit various countries. A number of urban authorities have indicated that diesel-only vehicles will be banned from city centres, for example. For remanufacturers, it is more confirmation that electric vehicles are coming to the fore and that reman of internal combustion engines will eventually not be needed.
