As we build up to ReMaTec 2019, it’s good to travel back in time to be reminded that everything starts somewhere. The third edition of ReMaTec, in 2005, was “set to attract more exhibitors than the two previous shows in 2001 and 2003” and would cover a larger floor area. Thirteen years later, coming up to the 10th show, the industry has moved on – for instance, electronics was far less on the agenda than it will be this year - but some things stay reassuringly the same. Explaining why the company was going to be there, Corteco told ReMaTecNews: “ReMaTec represents a unique opportunity to show our commitment to bring OE quality and technical expertise to our customers.
It is important for us to be present at ReMaTec as it is essential for us to provide the right products and services to remanufacturers.” No-one would argue with that! A RAI spokesman said: “All signs are that next year’s exhibition will further emphasise ReMaTec’s leading position in the European and international reman industry.” Well, quite. (There is also a typo. No prizes for spotting it. But proof that we must all strive to improve).
