At the APRA Symposium John Quinn, Executive Strategic Advisor to LKQ Corporation, is going to talk about the future of remanufacturing in the automotive aftermarket from a global distributors perspective.
John Quinn joined LKQ in 2009 as chief financial officer. At the start of 2015, he became CEO of LKQ Europe. Under his leadership, the turnover of this branch tripled, partly due to a series of acquisitions (Stahlgruber in Germany, Rhiag in Italy and the Czech Republic). LKQ is currently the largest distributor of parts for the automotive aftermarket in Europe, with a turnover of around six billion dollars, achieved in more than twenty European countries. As of 1 October 2019 Arnd Franz took over the position of chief operating officer as John retired from this position.
