The automotive professionals of AS-PL, a global distributor of alternators, starters and their components, consider Rematec Amsterdam to be a valuable platform for both acquiring new customers and exchanging knowledge, viewing it as a cornerstone of the AS-PL’s learning and growth.

Gilis-Siek recently spoke about the company’s goals, highlights and new products to be showcased during the event.
A focus on innovation, continuous improvement
Poland-based AS-PL will be exhibiting at this year's Rematec Amsterdam, which is taking place June 27-29, 2023. “We are a company that focuses on innovation and constant development in order to provide customers with the highest-quality products, so the subject of the fair interests us very much,” Gilis-Siek said.
Gilis-Siek said she and her AS-PL colleagues are excited to participate in Rematec Amsterdam as the topic of sustainable development and product regeneration is crucial to the company. The chance of being in-person at a trade show is invaluable, she said.
“Personal conversations with our clients are always very valuable experiences,” said Gilis-Siek.

How has exhibiting at Rematec Amsterdam helped AS-PL in the past?
“Participation in Rematec is associated with numerous meetings during which we can talk about product regeneration,” Gilis-Siek said. “For our clients, it is a very good opportunity to meet face-to-face with people they work with on a daily basis and talk about plans for further cooperation.”
‘We learn a lot’
“For both parties, such meetings have a positive connotation, because it is possible to strengthen relations in this way. It is certainly more pleasant to work with a person who is not just an e-mail address, but someone we met in person. We learn a lot at such events. We observe other companies and new solutions in the industry, which also has a great positive value,” she added.
Rematec Amsterdam also is an important event for AS-PL in terms of the company’s brand awareness and an opportunity to highlight how important ecology is for AS-PL, she said.
Rematec Amsterdam brings together professionals who are very close to the subject of product regeneration and it is at such events that they can establish contacts with other companies dealing with this subject, Gilis-Siek said.
“The event is therefore not only a good place to exchange information and experience, but also to present new solutions, also from other industries, that can be implemented in the regeneration process,” she said.
Many times the contacts established at the fair turned into long-term cooperation, during which customers often visit our production plant located in Poland or we visit our customers' factories.
As for new products AS-PL will highlight at the show, Gilis-Siek said the introduction of AS-PL’s NOx sensors of the "AS" brand will be on display as well as a number of AS-PL’s alternators, starters and parts, which is growing practically every day.
AS-PL has been experiencing a period of sustained growth and expansion in recent years. The company established AS-PL UK Ltd. in 2017, which has been successfully operating in the British market. A new Italian department was opened near Turin in 2019, and last year, AS-PL became the official supplier for Groupauto Polska. AS-PL also just opened a new branch office in Valencia, Spain, in February 2022.
“Our stand is always full of visitors. In addition to scheduled meetings, we are visited by business partners, potential customers who want to know our offer and friends who have been creating the automotive industry together with us for many years,” Gilis-Siek said. “There are never too many valuable conversations, which is why we always invite everyone who is interested in our company and the products we offer to our stand.
