The Remanufacturing Industries Council, the unified voice for the global reman industry, announced newly elected Officers and two new Board members.

The Chairmanship was vacated by John Disharoon, Director, Market Access, Caterpillar Inc. Disharoon has served on the Executive Committee for four years and the Board of Directors for five years.
The newly appointed Chairman of RIC, Vaughn Henson, says “I am extremely honored and excited to take on the role of Chairman for this hardworking and results-driven organization. John served as Chairman of the Board with the utmost integrity, and we are grateful for his guidance and leadership over the years. I intend to pick up where he left off, continuing our membership growth initiatives and promotion of remanufacturing”.
New board members, Carl Fletcher, Leader Reman & Aftersales Development, Navistar Inc., and Mark Nugent, Senior Director of Strategy & Business Development, BBB Industries, were elected to two-year terms starting February 1, 2020.
Henson continues, “Our new board members are joining RIC at an exciting time. Their talent, vision, and leadership will enhance our already talented and committed board, as we continue to move remanufacturing forward”.
Reelected to new terms are Jena Holtberg-Benge, General Manager, John Deere; William Schofield, President, Advanced Electrical & Motor Controls; Michael Schmit, Director, Remanufacturing Technology, GE Healthcare; Paul Adamson, Chief Revenue Officer, America’s Remanufacturing Company; Don Olson, Head of Nokia Circular Supply Operations, Nokia.
Henson went on to say, “With a full slate of leadership in place, we plan to continue our work to Advocate, Collaborate and Educate on all things reman. These guiding principles have and will continue to be the cornerstone of our mission.”
