Yesterday and today the winners of the Remanufacturer of the Year awards 2020 were announced. During an online award ceremony F2J Reman, GB Reman and Re:CREATe were announced as winners of these prestigious awards.
The jury Peter Bartel, Tessa Vlaanderen, Erik Sundin and Felix Feuerbach were impressed with the, all equally interesting, nominations they received. In some specific categories, the nominees made it difficult for the jury. After long deliberation the complete jury was satisfied with all winners.
Nomination were entered in 3 categories
- The Best Reman Process Optimisation: The organisation that has realised the most outstanding process improvement results to (a part of) a remanufacturing process in the past twelve months.
- The Best Reman Business Innovation: The organisation that has realised the most outstanding business model related to remanufacturing industry in the past twelve months.
- The Best Reman Ambassador: The organisation or individual that has most significantly contributed to the general awareness and/or acceptance of remanufactured products.
This year the RotY ceremony was slightly different as to previous years. Rematec News’ first intention was to present the ceremony in person at the APRA Symposium in Prague. Unfortunately, the symposium had to be organised as a fully digital symposium. Therefore, the award ceremony also switched to an online ceremony divided in 3 different time slots. During the last ceremony a twist was presented: a one-time Special Recognition Award was announced.
