The European Remanufacturing Network (ERN) and The Scottish Institute for Remanufacture (SIR) are co-hosting a unique workshop at the Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC) in Glasgow this September.
The workshop will bring together leading industrial and academic partners from across Europe to share knowledge and best practices regarding remanufacturing processes across various sectors. Confirmed speakers at this event include Zero Waste Scotland’s CEO, Iain Gulland, Vector Aerospace, Stone Group,Oakdene Hollins, TU Delft and Linköping University, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
There will also be collaborative workshop opportunities focussing on automation in remanufacturing processes, certification in remanufacturing standards, European remanufacturing action plans and a tour of the lab at the Centre for Ultrasonic Engineering within Strathclyde University.
This workshop is a great opportunity for manufacturers investigating the potential of remanufacturing for their business or for established remanufacturers interested in improving their current processes.
Registration for the workshop is open until Sunday 14th August.
