Roberta Lisi from Brake System presents her Company leader in the remanufacturing.
What prompted Brake System to choose Rematec Amsterdam 2023 to present its company?
Brake System is strengthening its position in the European independent aftermarket and has decided to participate, for the first time, in Rematec 2023 due to its global importance in the field of remanufacturing, in order to seize and offer all opportunities in emerging technologies of remanufactured components. The goal is to remain a point of reference, at the European level, for all distributors operating in the independent remanufacturing industry.
What is Brake System's technological and commercial strategy in the field of remanufacturing?
Our technological strategy is to provide continuous expertise to our team: state-of-the-art technology used in the production process, custom tools and equipment, and rigorous quality testing ensure that everyone who relies on Brake System's "Reman" product range can be absolutely certain that the components installed on their vehicle are as effective and efficient as new ones. The commercial goal is to continuously expand the range of regenerated products. In addition to the steering and braking system, we introduced the new entry of Reman Turbochargers for commercial and industrial vehicle lines at Rematec. I would like to add that the true satisfaction is to offer customers a multi-product range while always meeting quality requirements and providing continuous post-sale support.
Circular economy is the key concept. How can your company be considered an added value both for customers and the environment?
The choice of regenerated products is not only economically advantageous, but their use also allows for significant savings of valuable natural resources, benefiting environmental protection and conservation. Brake System supports the circular economy as one of its main objectives: reducing waste by offering its customers a remanufactured product with the same safety, reliability, and performance parameters as a new replacement. All worn-out parts are replaced using new components that fully comply with OE standards. This means that our regeneration philosophy is very different from simple repair or reuse aimed at offering a "competitive-priced" product. Our priority is not to "cut corners" on anything that could negatively impact the safety of our customers while driving. Our production processes are forward-looking: constant technological updates and investments in research and development enable our regeneration process to significantly reduce CO2 emissions by using approximately 70% less energy than that used in the production of new replacement parts. These results have positioned Brake System as a cutting-edge company in the production of high-performance remanufactured parts that are environmentally friendly.
How does Brake System envision its own future and that of remanufacturing?
Remanufacturing represents a rapidly growing global trend in the industry and will continue to expand more decisively in the coming years. The demand for regenerated parts made in Italy is constantly increasing because customers have gained confidence in installing a remanufactured part with performance equal to that of a new one. Brake System intends to expand its range of remanufactured products by closely following the new market technologies.
What are the upcoming events?
By the end of the year, we will inform all our customers about the upcoming events on the European stage that we will be participating in over the next two years. Given the success of the recent exhibitions, our intention is certainly to continue collaborating with prestigious trade show settings like Rematec. Please keep following our updates; we are just getting started!
